We have lost track of a fair number of the BCMB alumni who graduated
in the earlier years of the program, but we know 125 are in academic
research: 28 Professors, 38 Associate Professors, and 28 Assistant Professors.
Forty-two are in private industry, 28 are with NIH/federal government,
23 are in clinical medicine, and 14 are in other careers (see the Alumni
page for current positions of BCMB graduates).
Of the 127 graduates 2000-2005, 95 (75%) are in academic research positions,
mostly postdoctoral fellowships (see below), 8 are in private industry
science-related positions, 11 are clinical residents/fellows or in medical
school, 13 are in other science positions or other careers.

Chemical

She
writes
feature
articles
and
news
stories,
stays
abreast
of
developments
and
breakthroughs
in
the
field
of
analytical
chemistry,
and
represents
the
journal
at
scientific
conferences.
Raj

interdisciplinary
nature

the

has
given
me
a
broad
knowledge
of
different
scientific
disciplines
and
an
understanding
of
how
the
scientific
enterprise
works
