Member laboratories are housed primarily in the basis science complex
which consists of five interconnected buildings and the Welch Medical Library.
There is a wide range of state-of-the-art core facilities available to
BCMB students. These include facilities for:
-

Chris Cherry
and Becca Sheng in the Matunis lab.

- electron miscroscopy (including a field emission
scanning EM)
- confocal microscopy
- two-photon microscopy
- flourescence-activated cell sorting
- computer training
- transgenic
mouse production
- mass spectrometry facility
- microarray core facility
Johns Hopkins is also equipped for NMR, ESR, and
CD, X-ray diffraction.
