Profiles in Biological Chemistry

Erin Goley

Erin Goley, Ph.D.

In an important step towards a molecular understanding of bacterial cytokinesis, the Goley Lab recently reconstituted membrane-targeted assembly of the tubulin-like cell division protein, FtsZ, inside of vesicles. This collaborative work with the lab of Takanari Inoue was featured on the cover of Molecular Microbiology.
